Detailed mechanisms of regulation of GRK2 expression in different types of cells of the cardiovascular system, particularly in cardiac cell lines, and the determination of possible changes in GRK2 levels in VSMCs of patients with cardiovascular diseases are interesting fields for future research and may help to develop new therapeutic strategies based on the modulation of GRK2 expression.
