These are the deliverables for Infosys in Insurance sector report.

1st Aspect This mainly will cover the various dimensions under which patents have been filed for. Like we do for landscape reports. Here, the landscape may not be exhaustive, but at least at a high level should be indicative.

  1. What we are looking at Insurance general sector. And how IT can contribute in Insurance
  2. What are the patents filed in the Insurance sector
  3. In doing so there maybe hard core insurance firms patents on their internal processes
  4. Business benefits can be derived from the patents

2nd Aspect It is linked to the 1st and 3rd aspect.

  1. Major competitors and major assignees.
  2. What other technology companies have done in IBM.

3rd Aspect It is closely linked to 1st aspect of classifying patents in some kind of taxonomy.

  1. 400-500 patents classifed broadly in taxonomy

4th Aspect

  1. Geographical distribution of IP trends etc. based on our analysis of 2nd Aspect.
  2. Trend analysis/business trends geographic distribution of IP

They want a very high level picture and analysis to be done. No level of details are required.
